The problem

Neuer Tag e.V. needed a clear public website that could introduce the organization, present its projects, publish news, guide people toward support, and make participation and donations easy to find.

Role and contribution

Designed and built the website end to end, including the public interface, structured content architecture, Sanity integration, and production delivery.

The solution

A responsive Next.js website uses Sanity as its content backend, giving the organization structured, editable pages for projects, news, help, membership, and donations while keeping the experience fast and focused.

Technical decisions

  • Use Sanity so the organization can maintain structured content without code changes.
  • Give projects, help, membership, and donations clear paths in the information architecture.
  • Include a prominent quick-exit control for visitors who may need to leave sensitive content immediately.

Challenges

  • Organizing a growing range of nonprofit content without overwhelming visitors.
  • Balancing a distinctive visual identity with clarity and accessibility.
  • Keeping editorial content flexible while preserving a consistent page system.

What I learned

The project strengthened my practice in content modeling, nonprofit-focused information architecture, accessible interaction design, and production delivery with Next.js and Sanity.
