The problem

BUNEX needed a distinctive website that could communicate its food quality, help guests choose quickly, and move them from browsing to ordering or visiting the restaurant.

Role and contribution

Developed the public website end to end, including the responsive interface, interactive menu, local favorites, accessible controls, and production delivery.

The solution

A fast Next.js experience combines product photography, filterable menu categories, browser-local favorites, direct online ordering, Google reviews, and practical visit information in one focused journey.

Technical decisions

  • Lead with real product photography and a bold editorial visual system.
  • Let guests filter beef, chicken, veggie, and side dishes without leaving the page.
  • Keep favorites private in the visitor’s browser and connect ordering to the restaurant’s existing online menu.

Challenges

  • Making a bold brand clear and usable across screen sizes.
  • Presenting menu choices, prices, allergens, ordering, and visit details without visual overload.
  • Balancing expressive motion with pause controls and accessible navigation.

What I learned

The project strengthened my practice in conversion-focused restaurant UX, responsive product presentation, lightweight client-side personalization, and accessible motion.
